Another Head Rolls in the EPA's Illegal Email Investigation

No one’s even claiming that James Martin is stepping down from his cushy government job to spend more time with his family.

EPA Region 8 administrator James Martin is resigning this week, according to a press release from Sen. David Vitter (R., La.). Martin faces a congressional probe for allegedly using a private email account to circumvent disclosure requirements.

Bob Perciasepe, the current acting EPA administrator, also used a private account to send emails to other EPA officials, Vitter said his office has discovered.

EPA administrator Lisa Jackson has already stepped down amid rumors that she quit because of the investigation into her use of private email, under the pseudonym “Richard Windsor,” to keep the agency’s deliberations off of official email that can be obtained by Congress.

Just about every official at the top of the EPA was in on the illegal email scam. They all should go, even though Obama is unlikely to ever appoint anyone who will conduct themselves any better.
