Only 35%?

Senator John McCain is now on Fox speaking highly of Mitt Romney.  McCain says Romney might “wrap this thing up more quickly than we originally thought.”  McCain is talking down Gingrich and Santorum.

Is anyone surprised by the showing of 35%?  Romney was governor next door. New Hampshire was his turf.  And yet, he is still stuck in the 1/4 to 1/3 zone.
