Enemy Agents in the White House?

Someone sent me this interesting must-see cartoon from the April 21, 1934 Chicago Tribune. (click for bigger view)

What isn’t obvious from the cartoon is the “Wallace” portrayed is Henry Wallace.  Academics with access to the famed Mitrokhin Archives of the KGB have characterized Wallace as a confirmed KGB agent.  Whether or not Wallace was paid by the KGB, what is certain that those close to Wallace in the Roosevelt administration were without question KGB agents including State Department official Laurence Duggan. A wide variety of scholarship has confirmed expansive KGB infiltration of the 1930’s American left and the Roosevelt administration including scholars John Earl Haynes and Harvey Klehr.  This is an uncomfortable fact the modern Left prefers to ignore, or ridicule in, shall we say, a Stalinistic sort of way.

Who was Henry Wallace as portrayed the cartoon?  Merely the Vice-President of the United States from 1941 to 1944.
