Yeah right: UN Human Rights Council wants all the OBL raid details

To make sure it comported with international law, so they say. But more likely, so all the miscreant countries sitting on that clown council*  find out exactly what the SEALs can do to their own dear leaders.

“This was a complex operation and it would be helpful if we knew the precise facts surrounding his killing. The United Nations has consistently emphasized that all counter-terrorism acts must respect international law,” she said in a statement issued in response to a Reuters request.

Many members of that particular body have sketchy human rights histories, you might say. Terrorist chieftain Muammar Gaddafi was just kicked off in favor of the rebels who are trying to oust him — and who have connections to al Qaeda. Cuba is on the HRC, as are Saudi Arabia, Uganda, Pakistan and Russia, just to name a few. Pretty much everyone on there, even our staunchest allies, would want as much detail on the raid as they can possibly get. We would be fools to give them a shadow of an iota of how that raid was carried out.

Which means we’ll probably give them everything.

*No insult to clowns intended.
