Dead terrorist gives Obama a dead cat bounce in the polls so far

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 26% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Thirty-six percent (36%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10 (see trends).

More: WaPo/Pew poll says Obama got a nine-point bounce on the subject of handling terrorism and national security, and a decent bounce in his overall approval rating but no change on the economy. His approval on the economy remains stuck at 40 percent.
