A person was shot Friday at a middle school in south-central Indiana and a suspect is in custody, state police said.

The victim was shot twice in the stomach Friday morning at West Middle School in Martinsville, Sgt. Kirk Durnil said.

Durnil has no details of the victim’s condition and did not identify the suspect in custody.

Apparently the shooter is an expelled student.
