Dale Peterson launches conservative PAC

Dale Peterson  starred in the most effective, red meat political ads ever last year, making him pretty much an instant icon on the right. And, after this ad, an honorary Texan.

He won, of course, and is now Alabama’s Ag Commissioner*. The PAC is called America Get Up, and it will support conservative candidates and activists in 2012.

From the press release:

“Next year’s presidential and congressional elections will prove to have generation-long consequences, and America Get Up plans to educate Americans on those consequences,” said Peterson. “We will endorse and assist candidates, causes, and activists around the country who are willing to stand up to combat Barack Obama’s liberal agenda and support conservative values such as cutting spending and taxes and preserving our constitutional rights.”

Update: My mistake — Peterson didn’t win that race.
