Hidden cameras and selective outrage

Predictable pundits are urging that James O’Keefe not be taken seriously, though NPR’s board obviously takes his work very seriously.  You can see his methods and approach criticized here and here and here.

One can’t help but wonder whether Tommy Christopher, Melissa Bell, and Jed Lewison laughed right along with Sacha Baron Cohen as he humiliated Bob Barr, Ron Paul and Christian Evangelicals in Mississippi.  Perhaps the selective outrage depends on the victim, and not so much on the tactics deployed.
