For those who enjoy honoring anniversaries, today is the second anniversary of the historic $814 billion stimulus.  Happy Anniversary!

It’s also the 21st consecutive month the official unemployment has been rate above 9%.  Happy anniversary jobless!

In marking this momentous occasion, a new micro site has gone up  that quotes from some of its most ardent congressional supporters.  There are gobs of predictions about the swift and full recovery that never happened.

The web site is from the National Republican Congressional Committee, and while it is from a partisan source, it also is a nice reminder of how many Washington predictions can be so wrong and be so worthless.
