You’ll recall that Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) was charged with ethics violations. Then right before the Nov. 2010 election her trial was delayed citing “new evidence.”

She’s accused of funneling TARP money to a bank, One United, in which her husband had stock and of which he was a former director.
That trial has yet to be rescheduled. Congressional sources tell me that’s due to internecine warfare between the Democrats on the committee. Where other committees can get to work whether or not the minority has their house in order, the Ethics Committee cannot. No word on when or even IF the trial will be scheduled.
