As those who have a healthy respect for the intelligence of Americans might have expected, the “toxic political discourse kills” meme is a bust with freethinkers.

Will the Dupniks and Krugmans of the world drop the angle, get reflective, and issue apologetics? Or will they double-down on crazy, issuing calls for Palin’s arrest?
