Remember the body positivity movement? People were supposed to feel good about themselves, no matter what kind of shape they were in. Fashion and culture magazine covers spent several years featuring celebrities and "models" who could barely fit on, well, magazine covers. I packed on a lot of unhealthy weight when body positivity was peaking, and I can assure you that I was not OK with me.
The BP crowd has been in an extended rage over Sydney Sweeney because our girl is hot, making a ton of money, and unapologetically having a blast while doing so. She's an American treasure. If you're a real American.
Sydney Sweeney has almost singlehandedly brought sex appeal back to advertising, and it's glorious. She has also exposed the hypocrisy of the body positivity leftists. According to them, Sydney isn't supposed to be reveling in her, um, bounty. Only people who are three Big Macs away from cardiac arrest are allowed to enjoy trips to the mirror.
