It was a pleasure today to meet many readers of this blog at the Liberty Film Festival where I appeared on a screenwriting panel with Andrew Klavan (Clint Eastwood’s True Crime), Craig Titley (Scooby-Doo, Steve Martin’s Cheaper By The Dozen), Paul Guay (Jim Carrey’s Liar, Liar), Burt Prelutsky (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, MASH), and Charlie Carner (Vanishing Point). Special congratulations are due commenter Pat Ducey who is one of three finalists in the festival’s screenwriting contest.

The festival seems very well attended and looks to be a future Hollywood fixture.
