Very Sad News

Byron Preiss, one of my best friends and the publisher of many of my books, died in a traffic accident on Saturday in East Hampton. He was 52.

Byron was a fantastic guy with real joie de vivre. He will be missed by all of us, but most especially by his wife publicist Sandi Mendelson and by his two great daughters Karah and Blaire.
