Acclaimed Australian filmmaker Peter Weir has done that most rare of things – make an anti-communist film in the commercial cinema, which is usually dominated by Che-worshipping pap. The film is called The Way Back and concerns prisoners in the Siberian Gulag who escape to India via Tibet. It’s an adventure, obviously.
