Biden Regime Investigating RFK Jr. for Decapitating Whale Carcass 30 Years Ago

There are hordes of leftists out there who actually believe that the various prosecutions of Donald Trump are entirely on the level and that our battered and abused “justice” system is still blind and impartial. It requires a herculean effort to ignore the facts of each case, but hyper-partisanship, especially in service of an authoritarian cause, is apparently energizing. Nevertheless, the true believers out there will find a new investigation of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. even harder to explain away than the legal persecution of Donald Trump.

CNN reported that “the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration confirmed on Monday it is investigating Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for allegedly decapitating a dead whale carcass and transporting it home two decades ago.”

It’s even worse than that. As Athena Thorne reported several weeks ago, the incident actually took place in 1994: “That is the year that former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy felt the need to drive five hours to saw the head off the rotting carcass of a whale.”

So why is this government agency wasting taxpayer money and harassing RFK Jr. over this long-ago incident? The answer to that is crystal clear. RFK is facing a whale rap because he broke ranks with the leftist establishment, first by running for president against Old Joe Biden, and then by committing the unpardonable sin of all unpardonable sins: endorsing the man whom leftists regard as the focus of evil in the modern world, Donald Trump.

This is made even clearer by the fact that this story has been kicking around for nearly twelve years now. As Athena pointed out, it comes from a Dec. 2012 profile of RFK’s daughter, Kick Kennedy, in Town & Country. The piece contained this piquant and somewhat revolting story about what Town & Country termed RFK’s “eccentric environmentalism”:

When she was six, word got out that a dead whale had washed up on Squaw Island in Hyannis Port. Bobby — who likes to study animal skulls and skeletons — ran down to the beach with a chainsaw, cut off the whale's head, and then bungee-corded it to the roof of the family minivan for the five-hour haul back to Mount Kisco, New York. "Every time we accelerated on the highway, whale juice would pour into the windows of the car, and it was the rankest thing on the planet," Kick recalls. "We all had plastic bags over our heads with mouth holes cut out, and people on the highway were giving us the finger, but that was just normal day-to-day stuff for us."

The Kennedy clan has now turned against Bobby as a heretic and apostate for running against Biden and endorsing Trump, but back in 2012, RFK Jr. was a reliable doctrinaire leftist, and Kick Kennedy was obviously not telling the story in order to portray her father in a negative light, and certainly not to get him in trouble with the law.

NOAA could have opened an investigation back at the time when the story was published if it was really concerned about this. But at that time, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was a respected member of the Democrats’ royal family. He could have stopped his car on that highway and blocked traffic while eating the whale’s head and he wouldn’t have faced any significant penalty. But once he broke ranks with the leftist establishment, he lost that protection, and now apparently anything from his past, no matter how long ago it may have happened, is fair game if it can be used against him.

Still, it’s hard to see how NOAA is going to conduct this investigation. Is it even illegal to transport a dead whale’s head down a highway? Even if it is, what’s the statute of limitations? What are the standards of evidence? Is a story in a magazine from over a decade ago really sufficient grounds to open an inquiry? All the evidence has long since vanished. The whale is not available for comment.

And if RFK Jr. is found guilty of illegal transportation of a whale’s head, or whatever law he may have violated by doing this, what then? Will he get the prison cell next to Trump? Will he be given a hefty fine? Most likely, whatever the outcome of this investigation may be, all NOAA will accomplish will be further reinforcement of the fact that in America today, the agencies of the U.S. government are being weaponized against political opponents of the Biden regime. In fact, just by opening its investigation, NOAA has already accomplished that.
