Is beachgoing becoming obsolete?

I just read a href=”http://althouse.blogspot.com/2009/08/why-arent-more-people-going-to-beach.html”at Ann Althouse’s blog /athat people aren’t going to the beach as much this year. But this place seems fairly busy so I’m not seeing much evidence of that.
