Press Secretary Sean Spicer hasn’t taken the podium for an on-camera press briefing in quite some time, but he insists his administration has “done a very good job” being available to the media. He says the president makes media appearances more than previous presidents, that they have included Skype questions from more rural news markets in briefings, and that the communications department attempts to answer all press queries via email. The media, certainly the mainstream elements, seem to disagree with Spicer’s assessment. They seem to think that the Trump administration is shrouded in secrecy.
