Al Sharpton Slams Hillary: 'You Took Your Base for Granted'

Al Sharpton says it wasn’t just whether Hillary Clinton visited the right regions or tried to speak to Independents that kept her from being elected, but that she took her base for granted. This is part of his message to her: “You’ve never worked your own base. You took your base for granted. So it’s not that you need to go another way. You didn’t identify with those in identity politics. And that’s why you had the lowest turnout [of] blacks in a long time.”
