Reince Priebus Says Administration Won't Apologize for the Refugee Ban

Chuck Todd asked President Trump’s chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, why they didn’t give a grace period for the Muslim travel ban (which some are calling a regional travel ban), and he said they “apologize for nothing.” He compared it to ripping off a band-aid, and said that that if they gave a grace period that people looking to do us harm would just hasten their departures. He defended the policy as a whole by saying, “If there are folks that shouldn’t be in this country, they’re going to be detained.”
