On Friday, President Donald Trump announced that all the sanctions that former president Barack Obama lifted from Iran in the disastrous “Iran Deal” would be reinstated on the day before the midterm elections. He had some fun preparing the announcement.

The president personally finalized this declaration with a hilarious “Game of Thrones”-style tweet. The tweet showed a picture of Trump iconically walking forward, with the text “Sanctions Are Coming, November 5” in a font very similar to the “Game of Thrones” logo. The phrase “Sanctions Are Coming” is a clear reference to the words of House Stark: “Winter Is Coming.” The message seems particularly well-timed, as winter also is coming.

According to the Associated Press, the sanctions will take effect Monday and will cover Iran’s shipping, financial, and energy sectors. This will be the second batch of penalties that the administration has imposed since Trump withdrew from the deal in May.

This move represents the finalization of Trump’s reversal of the Iran Deal, as the sanctions will return to the exact levels where they stood before Obama signed the deal in 2015.
