The Democratic National Convention has proved even more entertaining than the Republican convention last week, but with all the pro-Sanders fanfare, everyone was expecting Bernie’s speech on Monday to be one of the biggest events of the week. It was, but not entirely in a good way.

Here are 17 reactions to the Vermont senator’s last salvo. His supporters booed House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz when they stood for Hillary Clinton. Bernie has already endorsed Hillary, but the question is, will his endorsement take?

17. Maybe not.

Yes, “Bernie or Bust” supporters actually booed their presidential candidate when he told them to vote for Hillary. Which leads to

16. The question of the convention.

Most likely, Bernie backers are going to keep booing, even after the roll call vote tomorrow. That’s because…

15. Bernie never had control of his supporters.

Which helps explain this.

14. Bernie Sanders supporters booing Elizabeth Warren.

13. Even David Axelrod got tired of hearing Bernie.

And Sanders got a similar reaction when he attacked the media…

12. When Bernie went after the media.

And yet…

11. How not to open a convention.

Especially when Sanders said this.

10. Cries for “Revolution.”

And as Sanders prepared to make his fateful declaration, we turn to …

9. Ted Cruz!

But when Sanders endorsed Clinton, this obscure Twitter personality had something to say about it.

8. Trump’s response.

Perhaps The Donald is right, because Clinton will only parrot Sanders’ talking points so long as …

7. He remains on the stage!

6. Reince nails it.

After Michelle Obama (!!) attacked Trump for suggesting America is not great, both Warren and Sanders attacked the status quo, arguing for a status quo candidate…

5. Anger at the “Bernie or Bust” crowd.

Tinfoil…

4. “You sold your birthright for a bowl of porridge!”

3. Susan Sarandon was not pleased.

Sarandon was not happy to see Democrats and fellow Bernie supporters like herself turn around and support Hillary Clinton. And she confirmed the truth of the above tweet.

2. This is hilarious.

1. The real mood of the DNC.

And this is too good not to include.

Here’s video of that.
