A U.S. official told CBS News that the emails are not duplicates of documents previously reviewed during the investigation into Clinton’s private email server. They were reportedly found on the computer of Anthony Weiner, the estranged husband of Clinton’s top aide Huma Abedin.

It is unclear how many new relevant documents were retrieved from the computer and how significant they are to the investigation.

Clinton had previously said that she had turned over all relevant emails from her unsecured email server used to conduct government business and housed in the basement of New York house.

News of the recently discovered emails broke when FBI director James Comey sent a letter to Congress informing them that 650,000 emails were found during a federal probe of an alleged underage sex situation involving Weiner, when agents were examining Weiner’s computer.
