Just when you thought that CNN’s many hosts couldn’t possibly become even more anti-Trump, S.E. Cupp writes on Twitter that she is confident that Donald Trump will demand a “third term” as president. Amazingly, she does this while simultaneously attacking former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, whom she apparently also hates.
“Remember when Bloomberg demanded a third term as mayor and got it?” Cupp asks her followers. “Trump will do the same. Beware, the same autocratic impulses…”

This is pure insanity. There is truly no reason whatsoever to believe that Trump will “demand” a third term. In fact, if you look at how much anger he and his family are faced with every single day, it’s downright amazing that he’s willing to run for a second term.
What’s more, even if he wanted it, it’d be impossible for Congress to give it to him. After all, the two-terms limit is part of the Constitution. In New York, it was a completely different story altogether. To compare the two is ridiculous.
It goes to show just how extreme CNN and its anti-Trump hosts have become. Clearly, they’ve learned nothing from their most recent (horrific!) ratings.
Thankfully, Americans are responding with amazement to S.E. Cupp’s insanity. “Put down the alcohol and go to bed,” one Twitter user writes for example:
😂 Okay. Put down the alcohol and go to bed.

Another user explains to Cupp that she loses “credibility with comments like this.”

This Twitter user takes the time to explain to S.E. Cupp how one can go about and change the U.S. Constitution:
Repealing the 22nd amendment would require a 2/3 vote in both houses and 2/3 of the states approving it because, civics. But other than that, strong take, S.E. Not at all insane.

After which one John Cinnamon adds:
It might be juuuuuuuust a tad bit easier overcoming New York election rules than that sticky little Constitution thingy.

Instead of tweeting out nonsense about Trump, S.E. Cupp should stick to posting photos of herself on Instagram. Admittedly, that doesn’t add much to the debate either, but at least she doesn’t degrade it any further either.
