Nancy Pelosi Says She's 'Prayerful' As Impeachment Moves Forward

Congresswoman (I do hope I’m not misgendering her) and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continues to pretend that she’s truly, deeply sorry that she and her fellow Democrats have decided to move forward with an impeachment inquiry. Oh yes, she says, she’s “heartbroken” and, get this, even “prayerful” about it.

“This is a very sad time for our country. There is no joy in this,” Pelosi said with a face that showed little to no emotion, which could be due to all the plastic surgery she’s had or to her not being sorry about it at all, of course. Or both.

“We must be somber, we must be prayerful and we must pursue the facts further to make a decision as to, Did this violate the Constitution of the United States? Which I believe it did.”

Oh please, cry me a river.

Leftwing Democrats — and, let’s be honest, are there any other Democrats left nowadays? — have called for President Trump’s impeachment from the very moment he was sworn in. All they needed was an excuse. Initially, they hoped that Robert Mueller’s report would give them what they longed for but, alas, it was not to be so. Quite the opposite, even. The report clearly concluded that there was no collusion between Team Trump and the Kremlin. At all.

So, Democrats needed something else. Lo and behold, they found it. Or, better: they generated it. They got one of their own, who happens to work for the CIA, to leak misleading information from a telephone conversation the president had with the leader of Ukraine, and… Pelosi and her buddy Rep. Adam Schiff ran with it.

The best way to see through this little theater show is, of course, Pelosi’s use of the word “prayerful.” Democrats have all but declared war on Christianity. As far as Democrats are concerned, religious believers aren’t welcome anywhere; not in their party, and especially not in any positions of power.

Prayerful? Lies, lies, damned lies. Firstly, she and her ilk don’t actually pray (unless to that guy with two horns?) and, secondly, she’s absolutely loving this.
