Andrew Klavan: Steve Bannon Just Isn't Very Competent

According to PJ Media’s very own Andrew Klavan, Breitbart chief Steve Bannon is in serious trouble now that he and President Trump are waging a war of words on each other.

Bannon’s main problem, according to Klavan, is that although most people focus on Bannon’s ideas and ideology, his real problem is that he may just not be very competent. “When Bannon supported a guy against Trump, who then lost Alabama… [it raised] very, very strong questions about his competence.”

“You cannot lose Alabama to the Democrats,” Klavan went on to say on his show for The Daily Wire. “It’s almost impossible to do it and yet Bannon helped do it.”

Klavan argued that Trump’s statement on Bannon yesterday — saying that he “lost his mind” and that he played little to no role in Trump’s victory — shows that Trump has had it with the Breitbart boss.

“This is brutal,” Klavan said about Trump’s statement, but he believes that the president is letting loose (after biting his tongue for such a long time) because he fears that Bannon may lose him Congress and the Senate. “Trump is looking forward and thinking like ‘I do not want this guy losing any more of my majority than I have to lose in these 2018 elections.'”

“I don’t think this is a war that Bannon can win … if he goes up against Donald Trump,” Klavan continued.
