In what is by far the fiercest and most aggressive attack by a pop culture figure against Trump, rapper Eminem slammed the president at yesterday’s BET Hip Hop Awards. The (in)famous rapper from Detroit blasted the president, saying in a freestyle rap that he came to “stomp Trump,” calling him the b-word and a “racist grandpa.” Next, he made fun of southerners, holding them responsible for Trump’s election victory. Oh, and to top it off, he told all his fans that voted for Trump that they have to choose: it’s either a Trump voter or an Eminem fan. You can’t be both.
“And any fan of mine who’s a supporter of his, I’m drawing in the sand a line, you’re either for or against, and if you can’t decide who you like more and you’re split on who you should stand beside, I’ll do it for it for you with this. F— you,” Marshall Matters AKA Eminem said while waving his middle finger to the camera.
He also lashed out at Trump for his criticism of Senator John McCain (“To him, you’re zero cause he don’t like his war heroes captured”), basically questioning the president’s patriotism. Eminem condemned Trump’s response to Charlottesville and, oh yeah, paid tribute to Colin Kaepernick (“F— that, this is for Colin, ball up a fist and keep that s— balled like Donald the b—-“), the failed NFL quarterback who started the NLF movement of players bending the knee during the National Anthem to show their anger at racism.
“Racism’s the only thing he’s Fantastic 4 cause that’s how he gets his rock off, he’s orange,” Eminem rapped, referring to the Fantastic 4 movie and Trump’s curious tan. A few other lines:
– This racist 94-year-old grandpa.
– He cannot withstand the fact we’re not afraid of Trump.
– All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm.
– We better give Obama props ’cause what we got in office now is a kamikaze that will probably cause a nuclear holocaust.
– The rest of America stand up. We love our military and we love our country but we f—— hate Trump.
