Cameron Warns: ISIS Plans to Use Drones Armed with Dirty Bombs to Attack the West

British Prime Minister David Cameron has warned that ISIS terrorists are planning to use drones to spray nuclear material over cities in the West. That’s what the Daily Telegraph reports:

World leaders are concerned that  jihadists want to buy basic drones that are widely available online to transport radioactive material into the heart of major cities in a strike that could kill thousands.

The Prime Minister warned that the dangers of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (Isil) [red.: or ISIS] getting hold of nuclear material was “only too real”.

According to the British daily, footage has already surfaced of ISIS testing drones for such a dirty bomb attack. The threat is taken so seriously that Western leaders were asked to participate in war games to plan for a response to it. A British official explains:

We have already seen Daesh [another name for ISIS] trying to look at whether they can they get their hands on low-level crop-using-type drones.

And that’s precisely why it’s so hard to understand why the anti-ISIS coalition is still not taking the war on the terrorist group seriously. Sure, ISIS positions are attacked every now and then — yesterday, for instance, by the U.S.-led coalition and today by the Turkish military — but that won’t even almost suffice to wipe them out.

If Europe and the U.S. are serious about taking on ISIS and preventing even more horrific attacks than the ones we’ve already seen in Brussels, Paris, and Ankara, now is the time to launch a massive invasion of northern Syria and Iraq. Let’s wipe out these radical Islamic thugs and talk about how to rebuild those countries later.
