The SJW mob has turned on its own in a circular firing squad of sorts and has resorted to screaming in the faces of random low-paid workers across the country who probably voted for Bernie. Starbucks is closing down its locations all over the United States in order to show the world they’re super woke or something.
According to CNBC, “Starbucks said Tuesday it will be closing all of its company-owned restaurants in the U.S. during the afternoon of May 29 to conduct a racial-bias education program.” What will the cost of an entire day of business run them? Will they pay their minimum wage employees for the forced re-education training? Who is going to teach it and can we get it on video? But seriously, is $12 an hour enough to put up with this all day?
Why would anyone keep working there? Maybe #QuitStarbucks will become a thing. This is a laugh riot. We conservatives have been trying to tell you that Starbucks is shady. The company alienated us years ago (which I wrote about and I haven’t darkened their doorstep since). We could have told you they were into segregation. They’ve been telling us we aren’t welcome for years by not-so-subtle ad campaigns aimed at appealing to every left-wing fantasy out there. They have a bad record of not caring what the paying public has to say about them.
Watching this carnival sideshow is quite fun. I have no idea whom to believe about the story being reported that two black men were hauled out of a Starbucks for loitering. Like Jim Treacher pointed out, “The other customers claim that the two men did nothing wrong. But those other customers are… white. Am I really supposed to take the word of some white folks? You know how those people are.” Word. I say let’s get the popcorn and enjoy the show. Without their dedicated, global warming-loving social action types keeping them afloat, this could actually topple the coffee giant. I’m not going to lie. If that day comes, I’m wearing a red dress to the funeral.
But compassion forces me to think of the employees who will now be forced to go through an entire day of this. Except not nearly as fun.
Please, oh please, someone at Starbucks please film it. You’ll be a legend.

So one thing is certain. Starbucks is about to lose a truckload of money through the boycott and by shutting down every location in existence in May, proving once again: get woke, go broke!
