Police are investigating damage done by anti-Trump vandals to a course at the Trump National Golf Club in Sterling, Virginia, over the weekend.

According to NBC4, the damage was confined to the 13th fairway, where holes were dug, a chemical thought to be bleach was poured onto the grass, and the word “resist” as well as symbols associated with anarchists were spray-painted on the course.

Rocks on the fairway were also reportedly spray-painted red and orange.

The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office said empty containers of bleach were found at the scene.

NBC4:

This isn’t the first time Trump National has been vandalized. The course was vandalized last November, shortly after the 2016 presidential election.

The president has visited Trump National twice in the last two weeks. On March 25, The Hill reported Trump held several meetings at the course clubhouse.

Since the election of President Trump, the word “resist” has been embraced by the Democrat Party and its anti-Trump fellow travelers out on the streets. At a rally hosted by the New Jersey Working Families Alliance on Friday, for instance, DNC Chair Thomas Perez told the crowd during his “unhinged” rant that President Trump “didn’t win this election” and that people needed to continue to “resist.”

The vandalism was reported on Saturday morning. There is not yet a financial estimate for the damage done to the course and an investigation is under way.
