Ellen DeGeneres Wants You to Remember There's Good in the World

After the horrific mass shooting in Las Vegas, many pundits and talk-show hosts have chosen to amp up their partisan policy statements, but Ellen DeGeneres put politics aside. To her credit. Amidst what seems like a lot of tragedy in the world, with Las Vegas, Puerto Rico, and so much more, she says there’s still more good than bad.

As a way to prove, “Good will always win; love will always win,” she released this montage featuring some of the best people who have appeared on her program. These heartwarming stories help us to see that, indeed, the human spirit is inherently kind, not inherently violent; that the vast majority of people are still agents for good rather than bad actors. DeGeneres encourages us to never lose sight of that, and to never lose hope.
