I must admit that I watch The Celebrity Apprentice as a guilty pleasure. I watched it when Donald Trump was the host, and I’m watching it this season while Arnold Schwarzenegger is hosting. I love watching the celebrities vie for money and attention, and find it hilarious to see them actually go through some trials and hurdles (rather than just be handed everything). It’s also all for charity, which is awesome!
President Trump, a casino-owning fan of Playboy and Howard Stern who somehow got evangelical support, actually used the National Prayer Breakfast to make fun of The Celebrity Apprentice’s current ratings. He said, “I want to just pray for Arnold — if we can — for those ratings.” So in one fell swoop, Trump made fun of his former TV show and made light of the National Prayer Breakfast…
