The Vice Guide to Libya

I’m a huge fan of the Vice Guide to Travel, which you can watch on Netflix Instant Viewing if you have that service. Two episodes stand out in particular–The Vice Guide to North Korea and The Vice Guide to Liberia. North Korea comes across as the terrifying total surveillance and control state that it is, and Liberia’s problems are so catastrophic it makes the Middle East look like Switzerland by comparison.

The guys at Vice are now back with a series of videos they recently shot in Libya. You can see part one of The Rebels of Libya on their Web site. Parts two through six are scheduled to air this week and next. Watch it. Trust me. They do an excellent job. And watch their North Korea and Liberia episodes, too.
