Hadar Sela, who kindly showed me around the Golan Heights last year, returned to the Druze village of Majdal Shams up the road from her house and talked to the residents there about the uprising in Syria. If you want to get an idea of the extraordinary amount of hysterical nonsense journalists have to listen to on a regular basis—nonsense that is usually edited out because it’s misleading and crazy—read her dispatch.
