I'm Going to the Prom Tonight

The AEI annual banquet/ball, which we scholars long since dubbed “The Prom.” Everyone lashed into tuxes and fancy gowns, great music from Eric Felton–the reincarnation of Washington’s own Duke Ellington–and of course high intellectual content. We are giving our annual Irving Kristol Award to Bernard Lewis, nearly ninety-one years old and still one of the liveliest minds in America.
