If you're anything like me, you're so sick of rich, spoiled celebrities telling you how to behave while doing a whole lot of preaching and very little practicing. Not a day goes by without big names in Hollywood jumping on social media to tell us what to think and how to act about every issue under the sun. And yet, when you put their lives under a microscope, or run their names through a quick Google search, you quickly realize they love to tell you and me, the little people, what to do while ignoring their own advice.
And nowhere does that become more clear than on the issue of climate change. One Battle After Another actor Leonardo DiCaprio loves to "tsk, tsk, tsk" all of us normies about the size of our carbon footprint, while he flies around the world on a private jet. You should fly less, but him? No way, man. How else does he show up at all those climate change conferences if he can't hop in a plane spewing poisonous substances into the atmosphere?
The hypocrisy is mind melting.
Photos from this past weekend's Oscars once again put it on full display when images of the Dolby Theater, the venue for the event, hit the internet and showed how Hollywood "elites" who fearmonger about how the environment is so trashed that it's on the verge of world-ending catastrophe trashed the place themselves.
These self-proclaimed environmental activists apparently feel far too entitled to actually take a minute and clean up after themselves. After all, that's a job for Jose or Hector who snuck across the border last week, not rich, white famous people with egos the size of the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man. And, if I might diverge from the main topic for just a moment, that right there explains why leftist celebrities get so gung-ho for illegal immigration.
They care very little about sheltering the oppressed and providing them opportunities to make new lives for themselves. They want help to take care of all the dirty work they feel sits beneath them. Just look at comments from leftist politicians who try to justify illegal immigration by saying stuff like, "But if we get rid of the illegal aliens, who will clean the pools or trim the hedges?"
Anyway, the condition of the Dolby Theater shows that leftist actors are nothing more than puppets with their overlords' hands shoved up their backsides. They are useful idiots who serve as mouthpieces pushing the progressive agenda down the throats of every man, woman, and child who consumes popular culture.
According to Breitbart, one photo shows mounds of trash — we're talking water bottles, snack bags, and leftover food. Oh, and plenty of programs and papers littered the place too. But hey, that's somebody else's problem, right? DiCaprio and his fancy friends have places to go and people to lecture. They can't be bothered to clean up their own messes.
People shared images of the mess online and generated quite an angry response. One commenter was mind-blown by the mess and wrote, "Aren't some of them environmentalists? Where's all that 'protect the planet' energy now?"

Another said, "Save the mountains, keep them clean, blah, blah, blah….but look at the mess they leave." A third wrote, “Just look at the hypocrisy— 'Save the Planet' my ass! You people, that’s right — you people are nothing but a bunch of SLOBS! Trash and filth left behind by the overblown media apparatus known as ‘talent.’ What a bunch of pigs!”
One X user nailed it when they wrote, "It's One Bottle After Another," making a clever pun about DiCaprio's big film and the plethora of water bottles strewn about.
Hilariously, several actors who likely helped create the garbage left after the event had the audacity to use their acceptance speech time to harp on environmental issues, including Jane Fonda, Javier Bardem, and, of course, Leonardo DiCaprio.
What's good for thee is beneath me. That's the philosophy of Hollywood. And we're all sick of hearing it.
