The usual suspects on the left are screaming again — same script, different year. They’re calling President Donald Trump’s military action in Iran “illegal,” “dangerous,” and “reckless,” because, well, they’re always going to oppose everything he does, no matter what. Make no mistake about it, Iran was never going to be contained. Barack Obama’s nuclear deal was built on wishful thinking from day one. Why can’t Democrats see that?
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries came out swinging against Trump.

He is now doing the exact opposite in the Middle East.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren accused Trump of “starting another war.”
Donald Trump's single-handedly starting another war with Iran is dangerous and illegal.

'America first' doesn’t mean dragging the United States into another forever war built on lies while ignoring the needs of Americans here at home.
The Constitution is clear: only Congress…
Rep. Ro Khanna claimed Trump “launched an illegal regime change.” They sounded as if they were reading from a script stamped 2003. The reflexive panic, the handwringing about “illegality,” the pearl-clutching over “unauthorized war” — all of it predictable. I’m sure someone is drafting up impeachment articles right now as well.
Trump has launched an illegal regime change war in Iran with American lives at risk. Congress must convene on Monday to vote on @RepThomasMassie & my WPR to stop this. Every member of Congress should go on record this weekend on how they will vote. pic.twitter.com/tlRi3Vz849

But nothing changes the fact that every administration since Obama has had to deal with the fallout from that fantasy, and would continue to do so if Trump didn’t act. The ayatollahs built missiles, sponsored militias, and spilled American blood across the Middle East.
Democrats just don’t get it. Well, at least one does. Sen. John Fetterman didn’t join the chorus. Instead, he came out swinging — for Trump.
“President Trump has been willing to do what’s right and necessary to produce real peace in the region,” Fetterman wrote on X, adding, “God bless the United States, our great military, and Israel.” It wasn’t a slip of the tongue. It was a clear rebuke to his own party’s defeatism, and a bold statement that strength, not surrender, is the only language regimes such as Iran understand.
Fetterman doubled down in an interview on Fox & Friends Weekend Saturday morning. When Ainsley Earhardt asked him to respond to Rep. Thomas Massie, a Republican who came out in opposition to the strike, who claimed that these were “acts of war unauthorized by Congress,” Fetterman didn’t hesitate. “No, that’s bizarre,” he said flatly. He reminded everyone that Iran “massacred 30,000 of their own people,” and that this action “is not about the Iranian people, it’s about this poisonous regime.”
ICYMI: Barack Obama Is to Blame for Iran. Here’s Why.
Fetterman went even further, saying, “I might be a Democrat, but in this specific case, the president is absolutely correct.” He argued that backing Israel — not appeasing Iran — was “entirely the path for peace in that region.”
The deeper story here isn’t just about one military operation. It’s about the failure of Democrats in Washington to recognize the threat that Iran poses to our country. It’s not as if the mullahs weren’t telling us exactly what their goals were. “Death to America!” “Death to Israel!” That’s what they’ve been saying for decades, and when you combine that with their never-ending quest to develop nuclear weapons, it’s clear that what happened Saturday morning had to be done.
So why are Democrats pretending that Iran wasn’t a threat? It comes down to Barack Obama. We all know that Obama’s nuclear deal was a joke. Tehran was violating the deal before the ink was even dry, and continued to do so afterward. The left has wanted us to believe it was working, not because they thought it was true, but to protect Obama’s legacy. That’s why they’re coming out of the woodwork to attack Trump for having the courage to finally do something about Iran.
