After four years of keeping the Epstein files hidden, Democrats have sought to weaponize the delayed release of the files against Donald Trump, and yet, each effort to try to link Trump to Epstein’s crimes has blown up in their faces. It seriously makes you wonder why they keep trying.
Last month, they leaked a handful of carefully chosen and doctored emails, thinking they'd landed a knockout blow against Trump. Instead, Republicans responded by releasing over 20,000 emails, and suddenly the narrative blew up in their faces. Larry Summers, Bill Clinton's former Treasury secretary and an Obama economic advisor, ended up tangled in the mess. So did Virgin Islands Delegate Stacey Plaskett, Obama White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, and even House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. Rather than damaging Trump, the releases exposed just how desperate Democrats are to weaponize the Epstein files for political gain.

Democrats did not learn their lesson. On Friday, they served up another embarrassing chapter in their ongoing effort to weaponize the Jeffrey Epstein scandal against Donald Trump, and once again, it has blown up spectacularly in their faces. Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released 19 photos from Epstein's estate, presenting them as some kind of smoking gun connecting Trump and other "powerful figures" to the late sex trafficker. They specifically name-dropped President Trump, Bill Clinton, Steve Bannon, Bill Gates, Richard Branson, and others, framing the release as exposing everyone who moved in "the late sex trafficker's orbit."
But here's the problem: the photos show absolutely nothing incriminating. Even CNN couldn't spin this one. Their report flat-out stated that "none of the released images depict any sexual misconduct nor are believed to depict underage girls. It was not immediately clear when or where they were taken, or by whom."
So what exactly did Democrats release? A photo of novelty Trump condoms sitting in a bowl — yes, condoms with Trump's face on them bearing the slogan "I'm HUUUUGE!" and a price tag of $4.50. Other images show Bannon and Epstein snapping a mirror selfie, Clinton hanging out with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, and Bill Gates posing with former Prince Andrew. Former Harvard President Larry Summers and attorney Alan Dershowitz also make appearances, which underscores that Epstein's social circle spanned politics, business, academia, and law.

They also released a photo of Trump with six women wearing leis whose faces were redacted by the committee. The implication was obvious: The committee wants the public to believe these women were victims. But, they were not. According to a report from The Telegraph, the women in the photo were “models representing Hawaiian Tropic, the American suntan lotion brand, at an event at Mar-a-Lago,” from roughly 1998, and all the models were in their twenties.
And then there’s the cherry on top: “One of the women in the Mar-a-Lago photo told The Telegraph the U.S. president was a ‘gentleman’ who went out of his way to ensure the group enjoyed their evening at his Florida holiday home.” Democrats literally took an innocent photo and gave the impression that Trump was with a bunch of Epstein victims.
The pattern here is obvious. Democrats are emphasizing anything they think might politically damage Trump, even though, in context, they’re innocent. Their sudden zeal to publicize Epstein-related material also stands in sharp contrast to their complete lack of interest in transparency when Joe Biden was in office, when there was no similar push to disclose the Epstein files.
This selective transparency doesn’t answer the most important question: Who was directly involved in Epstein's sex trafficking operation, and what exactly did they do? This latest stunt has only made Democrats look more desperate and less credible. They've once again embarrassed themselves in their crusade to take down Trump,
