Democrats Have Blood on Their Hands

In just the past few weeks, left-wing violence has become impossible to ignore. From the assassination of Charlie Kirk to last week’s attack on an ICE field office in Dallas, it’s clear that years of reckless rhetoric have radicalized some on the left, driving them to commit real acts of violence. The pattern is unmistakable: when political leaders repeatedly demonize conservatives as fascists and liken ICE agents to the Gestapo, they’re effectively teaching their base that deadly action is morally justified.

The carnage in Dallas is a horrifying reminder of what happens when Democrats spend years demonizing law enforcement and treating violent rhetoric as a virtue. This wasn’t random violence—it was political violence, fueled by years of Democrats comparing ICE agents to Nazis and terrorists.

For years, Democrats have branded ICE as “fascists,” “Gestapo,” and “slave patrols.” They’ve accused agents of being “thugs,” “terrorists,” and “deranged kidnappers.” They’ve told Americans that ICE is a “rogue agency” that “should not exist.” When you say these things over and over, when you compare hardworking men and women enforcing the law to Hitler’s SS, you are lighting the fuse for radical violence.

The list of Democrats who’ve indulged in this poisonous rhetoric is staggering. Gov. Tim Walz smeared ICE as the “modern-day Gestapo.” Gov. Gavin Newsom called them “secret police” and said Americans have a “right to push back.” J.B. Pritzker compared ICE to “Nazi Germany.” Rep. Jasmine Crockett called ICE “slave patrols.”

And that’s just a fraction of it. From members of Congress to big-city mayors, the message has been consistent: ICE agents aren’t law enforcement officers; they’re monsters to be destroyed.

When Bernie Sanders tells people to “figure out a way to stop ICE from what they are doing as soon as possible,” when Hakeem Jeffries says to “fight” Trump’s agenda “in the streets,” when Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass spreads a hoax that ICE “kidnapped” a woman on her way to work, it shouldn't surprise anyone when a left-wing radical takes them literally.

These aren’t harmless soundbites. They are calls to action, and if Democrats don’t tone things down, trust me, the carnage won’t stop at Dallas.

The truth is, Democrats have blood on their hands. For years, they have normalized hatred against ICE, portraying hardworking federal law enforcement officers not as protectors of the law, but as enemies of the people. They’ve encouraged Americans to see men and women risking their lives at the border as villains to be despised, attacked, and even targeted for violence. The Dallas shooting wasn’t the isolated act of one deranged lunatic—it was the inevitable consequence of a sustained Democratic campaign to delegitimize and dehumanize ICE agents.

And now, after a terrorist tried to turn their rhetoric into reality with an assault rifle, will they take responsibility? Of course not. They will downplay it, dismiss it, and continue elevating anarchists, extremists, and open-border radicals as heroes, while the very people keeping our borders—and our country—safe are left in the crosshairs. Unless this poisonous narrative is confronted and stopped, there’s no reason to believe innocent Americans won’t continue paying the price.
