The Democratic Party Is Committing Political Suicide

The media wants you to believe that Donald Trump is imploding. In reality, it’s the Democratic Party, and the numbers don't lie. You’d be hard-pressed to find a poll with good news for the Democrats these days. In fact, fresh polling data reveals what conservatives have known all along—the left would rather burn down the house than work across the aisle, even if it means getting absolutely nothing done for the American people.

I previously reported on the latest YouGov/CBS News poll that shows that Americans broadly support President Trump's common-sense immigration policies but are split on his overall performance. The same poll found that 30% of Democrats “want to see congressional Democrats try to compromise and find common ground with Donald Trump” while a whopping 70% “want to see congressional Democrats try to oppose Donald Trump as much as possible.”

This isn't just garden-variety political opposition—it's full-blown Trump Derangement Syndrome. While a clear majority of Americans, 60%, want Democrats to find common ground with Trump, the radical left is having none of it. A mere 25% of self-described liberals support compromise, proving they'd rather see America fail than Trump succeed.

The results of this poll mirrored that of an NBC News poll, which found that “By 65-32 percent, Democratic voters say they want Democrats in Congress to 'Stick to their positions even if this means not being able to get things done in Washington.’”

This puts the Democrats in Congress in the position where they have to choose between alienating the radical left-wing base or more mainstream Democrats, and if you think that mainstream Democrats are going to win that fight, you have another thing coming.

The numbers don’t lie—Democrats are in free fall, trapped between their radical base demanding all-out resistance and the American people’s growing frustration with their dysfunction. The party that once claimed to champion “unity” is now consumed by infighting, with no clear leadership and no real vision beyond opposing President Trump. It seems the only thing they can agree on is their own self-destruction. Grab the popcorn—this meltdown is just getting started.

For years, congressional Democrats enjoyed a strong, reliable base, but that advantage has disappeared. Their strategy of obstruction and outrage isn’t just failing—it’s exposing their complete inability to govern. Instead of offering solutions, they’re busy sabotaging each other, trapped in a competition to see who can embrace the most extreme left-wing policies. Meanwhile, President Trump is delivering real results for the American people, from economic growth to securing the border, while Democrats remain too obsessed with Trump to recognize their own unraveling.

For conservatives, the timing couldn’t be better. While Democrats are locked in a bitter civil war over their party’s future, Republicans are focused on making life better for everyday Americans. With the left consumed by chaos, their chances of reclaiming power are slipping away.
