The Biden-Harris Admin Proved Trump Was the ‘Adult in Charge’ All Along

Remember when Joe Biden’s election was hailed as “putting the adults back in charge”? The pitch was clear: after four years of Trump chaos, the Biden administration would bring back stability, competence, and professionalism to the White House.

We heard this over and over again.

But after nearly four years of spiraling crises, Americans are now reflecting on what that leadership actually delivered—and it’s led many to re-evaluate Donald Trump as the true “adult in the room.”

But the Biden administration proved quickly that they were not the adults. Biden prioritized wokeness over experience, cover-ups over accountability, war over peace, our enemies over our allies, and incompetence over competence.

The Biden administration presided over an economy that became increasingly unaffordable for everyday Americans, with essential costs — like gas, groceries, and housing — skyrocketing while wages stagnated. Biden officials had no idea what they were doing and assured us that inflation was transitory. They were wrong. Their promise of “normalcy” turned out to be far from the stable and thriving economy we experienced under Trump.

From the handling of the East Palestine, Ohio, train derailment and the supply chain crisis to COVID relief fraud, the border crisis, and everything in between, they repeatedly showed us they had no idea what they were doing.

Frankly, it's hard to think of anything that the Biden-Harris administration did right.

Foreign policy has been another weak spot for Biden’s team. The disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, for example, was more than a tactical blunder—it became a symbol of the administration’s broader inability to handle high-stakes international challenges, and to this day, no one has been held accountable. Earlier this year, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin was hospitalized for days and the White House had no idea. This should have ended in Austin's resignation, but it didn't. After all, Biden couldn't fire the "first black Secretary of Defense." And then there was the inexplicable handling of the Chinese spy balloon, which the administration allowed to surveil U.S. military installations for days.

And don't get me started on their handling of the Ukraine-Russia war, Israel, and Iran.

The reality is this: All the talk about the adults being back in charge after Trump was out of the White House was empty rhetoric and wishful thinking, a cheap slogan manufactured by the left as a symbol of the stability and prosperity that the Biden-Harris administration failed to deliver.

I'm not saying the first Trump administration was perfect and without problems. Trump came to the White House as an outsider and put his trust in a lot of people who didn't want to see him succeed. He won't make that mistake again, and obviously, voters could see that, overall, he brought leadership and competence to the White House. They wanted it back. Unfortunately, it took four years of the Biden-Harris debacle for Americans to appreciate what they had under Trump, and to realize who the adults in the room really were.

The next four years are going to be awesome.
