When polls started showing that illegal immigration had topped the economy as the chief concern of American voters, the Biden administration started to panic.
Even before Joe Biden was sworn in, illegal immigrants started making their way to the U.S. southern border, confident they'd be allowed in the country rather than deported. The secure border that Biden inherited was officially gone, and illegals started coming into this country in record numbers, well beyond crisis levels. Even Democrat-run cities that had declared themselves sanctuary cities during the Trump administration as some sort of bizarre protest of his "racist" immigration policies were now forced to grapple with the practical implications of their sanctuary city status. They quickly realized that they didn't have the resources to handle the immigrants, and they weren't too thrilled about the crime the new arrivals brought to their communities, either.
In response, Biden made a concerted effort to flip the script on immigration. The border crisis — the same crisis he created and refused to admit was happening for three years — was actually the fault of Republicans, he claimed. It's a cute story, but the voters aren't buying it.
Biden even decided to visit the southern border in an attempt to demonstrate just how serious he is about border security. Again, no one is buying it, but that's not going to stop him from trying in the hopes of saving his chances (which currently look quite slim) of winning in November. Like Bidenomics before it, this pitch to the voters is doomed to fail.

Biden seems to be under the impression that blaming Trump and MAGA Republicans for the failure of the bipartisan border deal is a winning message, but polls show that narrative isn't moving the needle, either. No matter what he tries, it's just not going to work. Every attempt at pointing fingers at Trump or the GOP will end the same way. The facts just don't support it.
On top of that, the evidence that the border crisis was engineered by the Biden administration continues to grow. The administration has now admitted that it has flown hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens into the United States. That's right, your tax dollars were used to fly illegal immigrants who had no business being here into the country to reduce the number of immigrant encounters at the border. In 2023 alone, 320,000 illegals were flown into this country by the Biden administration.
We wouldn't have known about this had it not been for a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit by the Center for Immigration Studies.
Biden's Customs and Border Protection agency created a phone app called CBP One that lets anyone who otherwise can't legally enter the United States submit an asylum application — and apply for travel authorization and temporary humanitarian release directly from airports.
The program at the center of the FOIA litigation is perhaps the most enigmatic and least-known of the Biden administration’s uses of the CBP One cell phone scheduling app, even though it is responsible for almost invisibly importing by air 320,000 aliens with no legal right to enter the United States since it got underway in late 2022. It remains part of the administration’s “lawful pathways” strategy, with its stated purpose being to reduce the number of illegal border entries between ports of entry. The countries whose citizens are eligible are Cuba, Haiti, Venezuela, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Colombia, and Ecuador.
Under these legally dubious parole programs, aliens who cannot legally enter the country use the CBP One app to apply for travel authorization and temporary humanitarian release from those airports. The parole program allows for two-year periods of legal status during which adults are eligible for work authorization.
Does anyone believe that Biden can successfully claim he wants to secure the border when he's been deliberately undermining border security from day one, and he literally flew in hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants in 2023 alone?
