Right now they’re cool, but a niche product. In a few years, with a new generation of batteries, they may be a plausible replacement for internal combustion cars. Right now they’re not. If you want something electric but generally useful, a plug-in hybrid is the way to go since it lets you putter around town on electricity but make long drives without worry about charging.

HOW IT STARTED: Twitter Admits ‘Error,’ Reinstates ZeroHedge After Banning It for Calling Out China.

Twitter admits it wrongfully banned the site ZeroHedge, but its history of selective enforcement is still infamous.

The COVID-19 virus’s origins, lethality, and cures have been hotly debated throughout 2020, to the point where social media platforms have heavily restricted many users’ posts. As a rare exception, one website has been reinstated after users thought it was gone forever. “133 days after Twitter ‘permanently’ banned Zero Hedge on January 31, the social network has reinstated us after admitting it made an error,” skeptic outlet ZeroHedge revealed June 14.

Twitter previously banned ZeroHedge’s account for allegedly violating Twitter’s platform manipulation policy by theorizing about the Wuhan virus’s origins. The initial ZeroHedge article suggested that the mainstream narrative about coronavirus being spread thanks to some bat soup was a “fabricated farce.”

JEFF DUNETZ: Where’s Moses? A Passover Question.

During the Seder, we tell the story of the Exodus from Egypt. But the Haggadah, the book that acts as the script for the Seder, only mentions Moses once. Only once? He’s the key human figure in the biblical Exodus story?     

Yes, THAT Moses… Prophet, miracle deliverer, G-d’s right-hand man, mountain climber, former tennis player, and a prince of Egypt. Former tennis player? Absolutely! The Torah says Moses served in the courts of Pharaoh.

Much of the Haggadah was put together by Rabbis after the destruction of the Second Temple in Jerusalem. It was created so Jews would have a guideline for the Passover Seders and to fulfill the Torah commandment to remember that G-d took our ancestors out of Egypt with a strong hand and outstretched arm.

Before the Romans destroyed the Second Temple, animal sacrifices were a big part of the holiday ritual, as required by the Torah. But those sacrifices were only allowed at the Beit Mikdash (the Holy Temple atop the Temple Mount). Sacrifices ended with the Temple’s destruction. Well, either the destruction of the Beit Mikdash or an anticipation that PETA would be created.

By the way, nothing in the Torah or Haggadah says that after the festival ends, Jews must have a week of leftover brisket after Passover. Sadly, it happens anyway.

Rather, Reformation is simply a “firearm” that is regulated only by the Gun Control Act (GCA) of 1968. Since Reformation is not a National Firearms Act (NFA) firearm, no tax stamp is required. FFLs can now transfer Reformation as a GCA-only firearm just like other similarly classified firearms, including the Mossberg Shockwave, Remington Tac-14 and Franklin Armory’s own XO-26. Both 7.5-inch and 11.5-inch barrel length versions of the Reformation are now available for purchase through Franklin Armory’s dealer network in most US states.”
