Good News: Muslim Yelling 'Allahu Akbar' While Driving Into Troops Not Charged with Terrorism

Relax. The “Frenchman of Tunisian descent” (as Reuters described him) who drove his car at French troops — who were, ironically enough, guarding a mosque — was no terrorist. He just had a “fit of anger” according to Prosecutor Alex Perrin of Valence, the city in which the attack occurred. Perrin says it was a spontaneous thing:

He explained that when he parked his car in front of the mosque and saw the soldiers, he got the urge to ram into them because French troops are killing civilians in Syria.

Ah, sure. No problem, then. Any “Frenchman” would react that way, n’est-ce pas? What’s more, Perrin said “he doesn’t claim to be part of an Islamist movement.” Then he must not be, right? Perrin also commented:

On the face of it, this seems like an isolated act.

Of course. Pay no attention to that global jihad. It was an isolated act. A huge international jihad group has called for Muslims to murder French civilians? Never mind that! It was an isolated act; it had nothing to do with the fact that the Islamic State has issued this call:

If you can kill a disbelieving American or European — especially the spiteful and filthy French — or an Australian, or a Canadian, or any other disbeliever from the disbelievers waging war, including the citizens of the countries that entered into a coalition against the Islamic State, then rely upon Allah, and kill him in any manner or way however it may be.

In any manner — including running him down with a car.

If you are not able to find an IED or a bullet, then single out the disbelieving American, Frenchman, or any of their allies. Smash his head with a rock, or slaughter him with a knife, or run him over with your car, or throw him down from a high place, or choke him, or poison him.

After the Paris jihad terror attacks in November, the Islamic State issued a statement claiming responsibility for them, and warning:

Let France and all nations following its path know that they will continue to be at the top of the target list for the Islamic State and that the scent of death will not leave their nostrils as long as they partake in the crusader campaign, as long as they dare to curse our Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him), and as long as they boast about their war against Islam in France and their strikes against Muslims in the land of the Caliphate with their jets, which were of no avail to them in the filthy streets and alleys of Paris. Indeed, this is just the beginning. It is also a warning for any who wish to take heed.

But this car attack had nothing to do with all that.

Although, the driver had jihad propaganda on his computer. But, said Perrin, never mind that as well!

These are downloadable images that are a few weeks old. Not the worst type of images, but rather bellicose slogans. … It shows he had an appreciation of that but it does not prove he had links with terrorist organizations.

Perrin added:

He reportedly shouted “Allah is great,” which suggests some sort of religious element.

Perceptive chap, this Perrin.

As it happens, “Allahu akbar,” the ubiquitous battle cry of Islamic jihadists as they commit mass murder, does indeed have something to do with religion. While it is routinely translated in the Western media as “God is great,” the actual meaning of “Allahu akbar” is “Allah is greater.” Greater than your god, greater than anything else that Muslims might oppose. It is a declaration of the superiority of Allah and Islam, which is why Islamic jihadists in the midst of killing infidels so often shout it. One primary reason for shouting it at such times is to “strike terror in the hearts of the enemies of Allah” (Qur’an 8:60). September 11 hijacker Mohammed Atta made this explicit in his letter to himself before carrying out his jihad mission:

When the confrontation begins, strike like champions who do not want to go back to this world. Shout, “Allahu Akbar,” because this strikes fear in the hearts of the non-believers.

Fort Hood jihad killer Nidal Malik Hasan shouted it as he shot thirteen Americans in November 2009, and so many other jihadis have used it essentially as an announcement that non-Muslims are about to die.

To recap: a “Frenchman of Tunisian descent” in Valence drove his car at troops. He was screaming “Allahu akbar.” He had jihad propaganda on his computer. But he won’t be charged with terrorism, as it was an isolated act.

In reality, it was one isolated act in an ongoing war against France and the West, just as the Nazi attack on Stalingrad was one isolated act in a larger war that Germany was waging against the Soviet Union. Nowadays, however, French authorities, like officials all over the West, refuse to admit that there is any war on at all, even as these isolated acts pile up.

As long as our leaders refuse to admit that there is a war, it is absolutely certain that they will not win it.
