ISIS issued a new threat to the United Kingdom today with a video showing the killing of five men accused of being British spies.
It includes a young English-speaking boy dressed in ISIS garb pointing and vowing to kill non-Muslims “over there.”
“This is a message to David Cameron, our slave of the White House, our mule of the Jews. How strange it is that we find ourselves today hearing an insignificant leader like you challenge the might of the Islamic State,” says the head executioner, speaking in English with a slight accent.
Some are suggesting he may be Siddhartha Dhar, an associate of radical cleric Anjem Choudary who marched in his pro-sharia events, was arrested in Britain in September 2014 on suspicion of encouraging terrorism and soon after jumped bail. Dhar fled to the Islamic State with his pregnant wife, who later gave birth to a boy, and goes by the name Abu Rumaysah al-Britani. He wrote “A Brief Guide to the Islamic State [2015],” which attempted to lure western jihadists with Snickers and “some of the best lattes and cappuccinos around.”
“How strange it is that a leader of a small island threatens us with a handful of planes. One would have thought you would have learned the lessons of your pathetic master in Washington and his failed campaign against the Islamic State,” the terrorist continues. “But it seems like you, just like your predecessors Blair and Brown, are just as arrogant and foolish.”
“In fact, David, you are more of an imbecile. Only an imbecile would dare to wage war against a land where the law of Allah reigns supreme and where the people live under the justice and the security of the sharia. Only an imbecile would dare to anger a people who love death the way that you love your life.”
The video, from the IS capital of Raqqa, continues with a warning to “all British government, all people of Britain” to “know that today your citizenship is under our feet and that the Islamic State, our country, is here to stay.”
“And we will continue to wage jihad, break borders, and one day invade your land, where we will rule by the sharia,” he says. “But as for those of you who wish to continue fighting under the banner of Cameron, on the minimum wage, we say to you, to ask yourself, do you really think your government will care about you when you come into our hands? Or will they abandon you as they have abandoned these spies and those who came before them? Because you will lose this war, as you lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. But this time when you lose, your children will inherit your defeat and remember you as the fools who thought you could fight the Islamic State.”
At the end of the video, a young boy in camouflage with an afro and ISIS headband says in English what sounds to be “we’re going to kill the kuffar [disbelievers] over there.” He points.
At this point, a title card reads “video coming soon insha’allah.”
In what appears to be a PR offensive from the Islamic State a week after Iraqi forces retook most of Ramadi, ISIS released photos of attacks near Fallujah and at Camp Speicher outside Tikrit.
