When you read about domestic violence statistics, they often say that men are not harmed by women’s violence but this is usually untrue. Women often pick up weapons or use household items to inflict pain on men. Remember even in the old days how women were always depicted hitting a husband with a frying pan?
I thought about the frying pan example as I read this article about a Florida woman who used a pork chop to harm her boyfriend:
FEBRUARY 4–A Florida woman is facing a domestic battery charge after allegedly clobbering her boyfriend in the face with a frozen pork chopduring a dispute Friday night in their residence.
Cops allege that Jennifer Brassard, 48, and her beau were “engaged in a verbal argument” around 9:45 PM when Brassard “threw a frozen pork chop at the victim.” The pork chop, a criminal complaint notes, struck the man below the left eye, causing a half-inch laceration…
Police arrested Brassard after determining that she was the “primary aggressor” during the domestic confrontation.
It’s good to see that charges are being brought against this woman. Maybe she will be held accountable
