First Son Hunter Biden gave testimony Thursday that further incriminates his father Joe being involved in an apparent influence-peddling scheme. Details include Joe meeting one of Hunter's business partners and writing a letter of recommendation for the guy's son, meeting with a Kazakh oligarch, and being in Hunter's conversations via speakerphone.
And yet you hardly hear anything about it, and if you do from the mainstream media, all you get is "there is no evidence Joe Biden benefited from Hunter's business deals."

Perhaps this is why OutKick host Tomi Lahren said on Fox News recently that the impeachment inquiry is "falling flat" and that priorities should lie in beating Biden in November.
"That's going to be the difficult part for Republicans. As someone who does believe there is plenty of evidence here, I think this has failed optically for Republicans, and they have done good work. But optically, it does make it seem as though they are beating up someone with addiction issues, and that's exactly what the media wanted it to look like, that's how they framed it and unfortunately, that's what's coming into fruition," said Lahren.
Given that the mainstream media has been covering the inquiry (when they bother to do so at all) as Democrat operatives in all but name, she does have a point.
Anyone not willfully ignoring the evidence by this point can see Joe Biden has done some shady stuff at the bare minimum, and that's not even counting the allegations of him showering with Ashley Biden or the bona fide video evidence of him just being creepy around kids in general. Yes, the impeachment inquiry is justified.
At the same time, the mainstream media is making sure nobody ever hears about what is uncovered, or denying what does come out. Unfortunately, it's working.
Ask any Democrat or someone who doesn't keep up with politics about what they think about the inquiry. Answers will range from "BIDEN IS INNOCENT HE DID NOTHING WRONG" to "I don't know anything about it."
This does not necessarily mean the impeachment inquiry needs to stop because there has been so much uncovered, but think of it this way:
If Trump wins in 2024 (God willing), the inquiry becomes redundant, but Trump can continue the investigation through the Department of Justice (once he cleans house, of course).
If Democrats retake the House in 2024 (God forbid), they will shut the inquiry down, especially if Biden wins reelection (and we all know how he would).
Still, Biden winning means he could be impeached immediately into his second term if Republicans hold the House and retake the Senate. Of course, we would be stuck with President Kamala Harris, something NOBODY wants.
So we're left in a pickle here. Despite the impeachment inquiry uncovering tons of damning evidence implicating Joe Biden, the media is intentionally keeping people in the dark about it and warping the narrative into "Republicans bullying a recovering junkie and his compassionate dad."
The Senate as it is currently composed will not convict Biden, and he'll be out of the White House in January (which is just ten months away) if Trump wins.
Ten months (eight if you only go to November) is still a long time, and Republicans should keep digging in hopes of flipping the narrative. If Trump speaks more about what the inquiry has found, the media will be forced to acknowledge it, and more people will see Joe for who he really is, even if the media tries to tell them otherwise.
So yes, Tomi Lahren is right in that Republicans should focus on beating Biden in November, but the impeachment inquiry provides the ammo.
