There are two things notable about this video, only one of which is really surprising. The first is that Chris Matthews may be pressing Hillary harder with his questioning than any other debate or town hall moderator has during this primary. That speaks volumes to exactly how disgruntled progressives are with mainstream Democrats.
The second is watching how combative and annoyed Mrs. Bill is as Matthews questions her. She’s like this on the rare occasions that someone proceeds with a line of tough questioning, largely because it so rarely happens. She also uses confusion as an excuse for her Iraq War vote. That’s right, boys and girls, the woman who wants to be in charge of it all was muddy on the details about committing U.S. troops when she was a senator.
The clincher in this never-ending parade of confusion comes near the end, however. She’s so dismissive of the Benghazi horror that happened on her watch as secretary of State that she can’t remember people were killed.
