Verizon picks Microsoft search over Google, Yahoo

The search wars continue and this time the battle ground is the growing and coveted wireless world. Cell phone giant Verizon has selected Microsoft to provide Internet search services to its cell phone customers. How important this deal really is remains to be seen but Redmond has at least bought itself some time to prepare for the next round.
