Judge Halts Sales Of RealDVD

That didn’t take long.  Within hours of the roll-out announcement of RealDVD the threats of lawsuits started. Hollywood studios and the Motion Picture Association of America accused Real of copyright violations and now it looks like REalDVD has been shut down. The RealDVD site notified visitors on Sunday evening that the service was temporarily unavailable due to legal action. The web site NewTeeVee.com is reporting that the court has halted sales until Tuesday to give it time to review documents.
